Architecture of the Initiation Journey on The Quest for the Holy Grail
Abstract
This paper explores the architecture of the Quest of the Holy Grail understood as a journey of initiation, focusing through the anthropological structures of the imaginary by Gilbert Durand. This hopes to achieve a hermeneutical study that shows not only the anthropological journey between an anonymous author and the cultural figures of his time but, above all , a new tool for a better understanding of the deep and rich symbolism of this medieval work immersed in a huge Arthurian universe. Also in this work is the heroes journey of Joseph Campbell, as well as the Fate figures analyzed by Victoria Cirlot.Downloads
