Abstract
Pere Gimferrer is one of the most prestigious writers in Spain over the last five decades, both in Spanish and Catalan languages. In this article, we will consider the ways this poet has offered an appropriation of medieval Hispanic literatures (Occitan, Catalan, and Castilian), especially in his last works (Alma Venus and El castell de la puresa). The goal is to consider how much Middle Ages has become central to his poetics.Downloads
