Abstract

The Spanish poet Antonio Martinez Sarrion (1939), belonging to the so-called generation of Novísimos, concentrated in his poetry a very important part of poetic evolution of modernity, especially the French symbolism, with authors such as Rimbaud or Baudelaire and by the twentieth century avant-garde movements such as surrealism. Our aim is therefore to trace the reception that the poet born in Albacete performed of these influences, as well as the different connections that may occur between the two periods.
