Nuevos enfoques de la cooperación para el desarrollo rural
Abstract
The article reviews Latin American governments and agencies rural
development policies and strategies, finding an important consensus
around the rural territorial development (TRD) framework. However,
this consensus does not exist in relation to operative principles
and tools that allow applying new approaches with success. To
improve horizontal, regional and experimental approaches, it is necessary to transform rural development cooperation in a learning
tool. Finally, the text analyzes two experiences about the new framework
on rural development cooperation, one of them in Latin
America (Project EXPIDER, Inter- American Development Bank)
and the other one in Vietnam (Project DREV, INSA-ETEA-AECI).
