Abstract
The uneven distribution of access and use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT), the so called digital divide, has become in recent years in one of the most relevant issues of the information society. The Global Public Goods perspective offers an interesting framework for analysis in the search for and application of financial mechanisms for the reduction of the disparities in the global information society.
