Prevention and eradication of child labour in Latin america: a shared battle in the regional Projects IPEC-ILO/AECID
Abstract
In 1992 the International Labour Organization started the International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour, and its Latin American regional branch has benefited from the collaboration of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. This article provides an overview of the projects carried out during the past 15 years, as well as its strengths and its current approach.
