The role of the private sector in the territorial approach to local economic development
Abstract
The private sector, the enterprises and the institutions that represent them, have a great role in development processes, even more in the case of a consultation and implementation process of a territorial development strategy. The enterprises and the relations established with other production units with specialized institutions and with governing bodies, are central in the development process, and their nature greatly defines the competitive capacities of the territory.
