The feminist influence on the evolution of Spanish development policy: learning towards the 2030 Agenda
Abstract
The mainstream of Gender in Development (GED) approach in Spanish Cooperation over 30 years has two aspects of influence, which in both cases are a feminist legacy: On the one hand, feminism has managed to permeate the global agenda of the UN, from the CEDAW to the Beijing Platform; On the other hand, it is materialized in the institutional framework of equality policies in the democratic process of the Spanish State, leaving recommendations for the 2030 Agenda.
