Focus and Scope

Revista Española de Desarrollo y Cooperación (REDC) is a biannual journal edited by the Instituto Universitario de Desarrollo y Cooperación (IUDC-UCM) since 1997. It publishes studies about development (including local development) and international cooperation. Its selection of articles is strictly based on their quality, novelty and relevance. Having a marked interdisciplinary character, the journal encompasses the social sciences and other disciplines relevant to development and cooperation. It has a monographic part and a miscellaneous part.

Publication frequency

The frecuency is biannual. REDC publishes two issues per year, covering two periods: from January to June (volume 1) and from July to December (volume 2). The first volume is published in June and the second in December.

Interoperability protocols

Revista Española de Desarrollo y Cooperación provides an interface OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative – Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) that enables interoperability between different platforms and repositories through the exchange of metadata.
