Formación y satisfacción del voluntariado de cuidados paliativos
Abstract
The aim of this study was to know satisfaction with palliative care volunteers’ activity and training at Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (Spanish Cancer Association). 80 volunteers fi lled in an anonymous questionnaire. Results showed that specifi c training, practice, monitoring, supervision and continuous training are accessible for most of volunteers. Detected needs of training are related to coping with diffi cult situations and managing own and patients and relatives’ emotions. Positive impact of volunteering in personal life exceeds negative impact. Specifi cally, volunteering contributes to life satisfaction.Downloads
