Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the most frequent cancer in women which intense treatment damages quality of life significantly, particu¬larly their sexual activity. The purpose of this study was to analyse sexual activity of a sample of women diagnosed and treated for cervical cancer. Among highlighted results, we found a significant disminution in sexual activity and satisfaction, as well as a low sexual desire. Moreover, patient’s believes about sexuality and their health percpetion demonstrated to be determinant aspects.
