Utilización de internet como vía de información médica para el paciente sometido a radioterapia: revisión y presentación de un proyecto de estudio
Abstract
Recently, both popular and professional publications about health care have begun to express enthusiasm for the Internet as a source of medical information and possibly of psychological support for those with serious illnesses. We review here the published studies that analyze the impact of Internet information on patients receiving radiation therapy. A research project is under development in order to investigate how users evaluate the information they find in Internet and the possible influence of this information in their psicological status, quality of life, and relation with the clinical staff.Downloads
