Abstract
Political and commercial relations between Spain and Russia, stretching back now more than thirty years, can be considered as tremendously positive, especially in an international environment that is ever more globalized. The balanced accounts that Russia has enjoyed during the last seven years, with surpluses in government budgets and foreign trade, have translated into a considerable improvement in the evaluation of its country rating for foreign investors. New opportunities for investment open up every year in the Russian market. In consequence, commercial exchanges between Spain and Russia grew in 2006 by 45%, giving an idea of both countries’ intensification and strong acceleration as potential markets.Downloads
