La relocalización empresarial y las relaciones laborales en España
Abstract
Business relocalizations are creating growing social unease by their negative impact on employment, but they must not be considered pre-determined processes, but rather the result of strategies of the different actors in which labor relations occupy a prominent role. From this standpoint, the article approaches relocalizations in Spain from a sector by sector perspective and by case studies of companies. It concludes that the participation of workers in a more pro-active conception of labor relations could minimize the negative effects on employment and areas affected by delocalization processes and strengthen the positive effects both in the countries of origin as well as in the countries which are the destination of the relocated activity. An objective that requires the reinforcement of rights of the workers to participate.Downloads
