Abstract

This article presents the scope of the Romanian transition after the fall of the communist regime in an international context and offers a global vision of the resulting changes. This paper also investigates also the entrance of Romania into the geopolitical network which helps to identify the new opportunities and current problems within Romania. The introduction explains the general goal of the transition of the Eastern countries. After presenting the principle characteristics of the Romanian nations, then proceeds to offer an all-encompassing and analysis of the political and economic transition of Romania. This includes the principle impacts that these factors had in the country. Finally, the study analyzes the integration of the country into Euro-Atlantic Structures.
