Abstract

Sustainable tourism is channeled like a strategic opportunity of first magnitude for the local scope. It combines dynamically endogenous and exogenous resources that correctly integrated set out a catalogue of social, economic, environmental and cultural benefits. The respect, both to the Environment and the local culture, together with the consensus and the social framework might give the feasibility of sustainable development in the medium and long term. Hence, it is fundamental to know how to manage the opportunities, analyzing with objectivity the reality, and not to fall in the adoption within the short term of models for tourism development that do not enhance the harmony of socioeconomic development, damage the local culture and speed up the consumption of the resources. Giving by imposed the validity of qualitative tourism, this paper emphasizes the relationship of the tourist sector with the use and the importance of the education of the human resources to propose the Tourism Development Agencies in accordance with the experience taken place in France and other countries. Finally the possibility of the development of the human resources is emphasized to offer quality services in the local tourist market.
