El valor económico de los bienes culturales y ambientales. Cultura, desarrollo y sostenibilidad
Abstract
Taking into account the discrepancies between value and price of the goods and services coming from the cultural sector in strict sense, the article shows that this type of cultural products - where they are generated and distributed, share with the environmental goods and services the capacity to generate external benefits. The research offers a synthesis of the main attempts to apply, to the cultural scope, the neoclassic economic analysis techniques in the presence of externalities. Also it is argued that these external benefits additionally justify the public financing of cultural development policies and the destiny of bigger budgetary amounts to the promotion of the sustainable culture, especially if culture is conceived as the fourth pillar of the sustainable development in the developed countries.Downloads
