Development and Environment Models; Case study of the city of Madrid. Thoughts on a city in progress
Abstract
The present work has the purpose of showing in a partial and general way the Model of Development and territorial organization, of the urban city of the current Madrid. City understood in this study, through two meanings. On the one hand, seen from a historical perspective, that is, the reflection of history in its streets, history that, without a doubt, and, more there are of the tourist itineraries, we can only guess in the layout of some of its avenues, buildings of historical tradition, settlement, ..., that would conform, with the step of the years, the different old planes like, for example, the old plane of Texeira. On the other hand, the city that we are currently treading is the living essence of the construction processes that make up the periods from the late 1940s to the present, that is to say, the city with which we now find ourselves is the practical embodiment of the law to the territory. A territory on which the current plan of a modern and contemporary city has been established, that has reached its normative and institutional consolidation in the literality of the Preliminary Title of our Magna Carta, where the constituent of seventy-eight reaffirmed as the capital of the Democratic State "the town of Madrid" located in it, although not imperatively, the fundamental institutions of the not so much, young democracy. Development and organization of the territory that has left a deep mark on the Environment and where the relation State, market and intervention of the public powers has configured a path that has been built in an increasingly more global reality.Downloads
