The origins of environmental sociology and its first evolution
Abstract
For many centuries people of different civilizations and cultures regardless of the continents and races have considered themselves as a part of the nature. Every moment of human life depended on the natural rhythms of our land. The man has adjusted his life by following these natural rhythms. However, with the first steps of technological development, human beings have sharply lost the connection to the nature and sense as part of it. With the first natural problems at the beginning of the XX century caused by different industries, international society started to pay more attention to the negative influence of the technology industry on the environment. Hence, this article is intending to serve as a reflection on the origin of environmental sociology in 1960 and its first historical evolution.Downloads
