Resurgimiento y reconstrucción: Debate sobre las izquierdas y el movimiento obrero en América Latina
Abstract
This article considers that an effect of the conflict between the search for political integration of the less favored social groups, along with the economic differentiation and the challenges of the sustained economic growth, represent the return of movements and ideologies of the Left in Latin America. This return has raised criticisms about the market-based model of development in the period 1990-2000, and today is characterizing the political struggle to control the State‟s resources. Some tendencies and leftists positions are analyzed together with the crisis of the labor movement in Latin America. These actors do not constitute a single phenomenon with defined ideological orientations. The return of various types of leftists manifestations is divided and do not have anything to do with those legendary and traditional conceptions of the left or the old Marxists doctrines.Downloads
