Abstract

Two fundamental traits, seemingly paradoxical, stand out when the present historic moment of capitalist development is characterized. On the one hand, the exacerbation of the disastrous human and ecological consequences of the current way of social organization; and on the other hand, the virtual, total absence of opposing political and social movements against the prevailing mode of production. Our work succinctly explores the historical and anthropogical processes which deactivated the working class revolutionary potential, and it tries to track the construction possibilities for new organizations which can strive to extend the existing cracks in the present structure of domination.
