Planificación alteritaria: ¿Una alternativa para otro mundo posible?

Abstract

The dominant vision for planning has had an enormous impact on all of the society, including on the social, economic, and territorial construction of societies, however this is a conception that has been constructed as a subordination and control mechanism to serve the production and accumulation standpoints of neoliberal capitalism which has produced a wider and broader situation of poverty and exclusion; in order to face this reality we try to develop a different and countercultural position of what we may call “planning from an alterity perspective” which intends to forecast a new planning vision rooted on new trends of humanistic perspectives so they may become bridges conducting into new alternatives which may respond to the vas majorities on the peripheries who find themselves experiencing exclusion and poverty.
