La "creatividad" de la acción. La teoría joasiana y la cuestión de lo imaginario
Abstract
"Creativity" of action is one of those issues which, in spite of being crucial in sociology, have not had a specific and systematic study, according to its importance. This article deals with the most important effort on the issue made on the last decades: Hans Joas's work. The article intends to show that his work, centered in the concept of Creative Action, has some tensions and limitations that dilute the problem for the sake of an almost partisan defense of a particular philosophical trend, namely, American pragmatism. After explaining this critique, the article advances a hypothesis: that Castoriadis’s social philosophy, built around the notion of imagination/imaginary, can be proposed as an alternative path, which seems to be potentially richer and politically better suited to build a theory of "creative" action.Downloads
