Pensamiento abismal, diferenciación sexual desigual y homofobia eclesial
Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to critically analyse the treatment and the official position the Catholic hierarchy sustains in the face of homosexuality, bringing to light the core of beliefs and ideological prejudices that are the base for the discrimination gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals undergo in the Catholic Church. In order to this, I take as a frame of reference the theory of abysmal thinking of Boaventura de Sousa Santos, I centre the analysis within broader set of problems: that of the negative evaluations the Catholic Church has historically dragged around sex and the constraints that this institution imposes on the right of the free use and enjoyment of the bodyDownloads
