Abstract
As T. Hobbes argued, men find in nature a same state of conditions and abilities. For that reason, it is not surprising that society is formed because the articulation of fears. Under such a context, the professional culture had aimed at canalizing all these fears and converts them in certainness for all citizens. Every profession (without exemption) is constructed by whatever the others fright and are based on the knowledge in favor of patients. Nevertheless, all these body of knowledge and information turned self-defeating against practitioners whenever a familiar loved one is involved in an unfortunate event. In those instances, the so-called professional paradox emerges with a combination of anxiety, fears, and horror over the professional at hand. A double dimension of conflict that sometimes may not be successfully overcame.Downloads
