Identidades y representaciones sociales: la construcción de las minorías
Abstract
The possibility that every human being has of being autorecognized is to what has been named an identity, but the fact that such a identity is constructed in natural and sociocultural precise environments, complicates enormously his meaning, with what there parts not only the plurality of possible identities, but also the transformations and modifications that a concrete identity suffers under the influence of the social influences and of the passage of time. Consistently, the division of the humanity in groups clearly differentiated in function only of his religion, his nationality or the color of his skin is not only a simplistic way of coming closer the reality of the human diversity, but it represents a dangerous optics, especially when this representation is outlined as a springboard for the real or symbolic violence.Downloads
