Power in Marx´s pollítical analysis. An onomasiological-semasiological approach
Abstract
This paper provides an interpretation semasiological and onomasiological on the way Marx conceives power in two of his most renowned political analysis: The Class Struggles in France and The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte. In these works Marx reveals a relational conception of power, all analyzes assume that the power is not a capacity or an attribute, although it is conditioned by structures and institutions. We can identify a concern of Marx to conceptualize power, when he distinguishes between actual and moral power, and between social and political power, but also an analysis of it in terms of balance of power between different classes. The power, understood as a relationship, not reduced to domination or violence and is studied taking into account the constraints that such relationships develop.Downloads
