Some Thoughts on the Rationality and Irrationality in the Crowd

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to reflect on the rationality and irrationality in crowds, in order to stand out as individual rationality or personal, is replaced by a common rationality or group, when it is expressed in a crowd or mass of people moving or pursue a particular purpose. This work is based on the opinion of several authors who have addressed both issues: Rationality and the crowds. The same is structured into six parts: the first: Rationality and Irrationality, the second: Multitudes, the third: Elements that constitute the crowds, the fourth: the types of crowds, the fifth in the Leading Role of the Crowds and the sixth: rationality and irrationality of the crowd and its leader.
