The realistic army in the city of Querétaro, 1810-1821
Abstract
Our investigation is based on primary sources. In her we give account (quantitatively and qualitatively) of the situation of the realistic army in the city of Querétaro, from 1810 to 1821. We show for the first time the number of soldiers who arrived at the city (of cavalry and infantry), as well as some of its particularitities like: wages, uniforms, retirements, recruits, deserters, armament, quarters, jails, among others. In addition, we showed the impact that had the city of Querétaro with the arrival of this army.Downloads
