Abstract

So-called «media trials» or «parallel trials» make it a complex challenge to both the justice system and society as a whole. A phenomenon that occurs when the media publicly judge facts and people before a pronouncement has been reached by the courts of justice, in parallel with the development of the judicial process or even before legal proceedings are initiated. The need to prevent and remedy the effects of these unwanted media processes on the affected subjects is an important challenge of the current information society.
