Abstract

The detennination of Seismic Risk and Damage Scenarios for a number of towns distributed over a large area requires a great effort in order to obtain the information necessary to carry out the analysis. Pan of this effort can be avoided through the use of simplified methods, such as the one described in this paper. Tbe method is based on the use, as input values for the calculation, of the readily available data conceming hazard, building typologies, population and vulnerability.
