Tendencias actuales en la definición de la acción sísmica.

Abstract

Sorne recent methods for the definition of the seismic input on structures are dicussed in this work. First of alí, a revision of the traditional methods for estimating the response spectra is presented. It is followed by a description of modern techniques of scaling response spectra on the basis of seismological models and attenuation laws. A detailed description of the energy-input spectra is reported together with a procedure for its assessment developed by the authors. Finally, some methods for the generation of synthetic accelerograms are presented, with special emphasis on the simulation according fo the theory of evolutionary spectra applied to random fields.
