Abstract
The article examines different ways of translating to Spanish of the term Vazraidane, term that refers to an essential era of national awakening and emancipation in Bulgarian history, culture and literature in the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries. The two most adequate translatios to Spanish are based on the two ways of interpreting of the phenomenon in Bulgarian literary historiography: as a "late" Renaissance that despite of some differences is part of the European Renaissance (Spanish Renacimiento) and as a different phenomenon with the characteristics of its own (Spanish Resurgimiento).Downloads
