Abstract

Since in the XX Century eighties Javier Arce published his Estudios sobre el emperador Fl. Cl. Juliano (Fuentes literarias. Epigrafía. Numismática), works devoted to Juliano II´s emisions have been practically nonexistant in Spain. The aim of this article is to carry out a revision an updating of our knowledge on that Emperor´s coinage. To this end, we´ll make an analysis both of the chronology of the different monetary series and their legends, as well as the iconographic program developed in all of them.
