Abstract

Professor J. Boussard already pointed the importance of the oblique quill cutting concerning genesis and tracing of the gothic script; nowadays it continues to be one of the most debated palaeog-raphical subjects. So, the aim of this paper is studying this technique, essentially from a calligraphical point of view, in order to obtain some clarifying graphic results.
