NUEVAS HERRAMIENTAS PARA EL ESTUDIO DE LA DIPLOMÁTICA: LOS LENGUAJES DE MARCADO TEI Y EAD
Abstract
This article pretends to carry out a diplomatic description of a document using to that end the tools provided by the new XML technology based markup languages: EAD and TEI; for this purpose, the first document in romance kept at AHEB-BEHA has been selected. Given the experience of this Archive in cataloguing by means of the ISAD (G) rule, the result of the development of these two markup languages is explained, as well as the possible advantages in diplomatic science providing a concrete labelled example. In this way, the approach to the document is understood from a globalized perspective which considers complementary and integrates all partial aspects of manuscripture to achieve the total interpretation of the text.Downloads
