Abstract

Literature is proposed, in its aspects of realism of the Golden Age and nineteenth century, as a field of work to contribute to the study of practices, gestures and places that accompanied the reading and writing processes during centuries in Spain. All this accompanied by an explanatory attempt of the methodology used in the translation of the study and in its connection with the social diversity of each stage. In this way, renewed alternatives will be proposed to expand and complement the development channels of the history of written culture. It is true that literature, in any of its manifestations, reflects the vicissitudes of the society that produces it or that it tries to recreate.
