An Astronomical Manuscript on Paper Made before 1262 (BNE, MSS/10015)
Abstract
Some of the later annotations allow dating a codex made with Hispano-Arabic paper and zigzag mark before 1262. The manuscript contains translations of Ptolemy works, according to Plato of Tivoli version, and comes from the city of Zaragoza. From there it traveled to Toledo and today it is preserved in the National Library of Spain (MSS / 10015). The date of the copy of this specimen, of probable Aragonese origin, must be placed in the second quarter of the 13th century.
