chronology of the inscription in honour of Doña Blanca in her castle of molina de Aragón
Abstract
This paper changes the chronology of an inscription preserved in the castle of Molina de Aragon; it was ordered by Blanca de Molina. Traditionally this epigraph has been attributed to the final years of the thirteenth century, the epoch of Doña Blanca; however palaeographic analysis of conserved letters of the inscription can prove that it was used prehumanistic writing; this writing was employed in Castile in the last two decades of XV century.Downloads
