The article maker an overview of the different definitions given to the concept of epigraphy and inscription before the current definition of inscription, defined as a document with advertising, universal and enduring nature: After certain reflections this definition must be clarified, highlighting that the universality and durability are relative, limited and applicable to intended of inscription by the author.Downloads
