Abstract

MoLINA MoReNo, J. R. & A. PRoBANzA LoBo 1992. Distribution models on lichenie epiphytic biocenosis in a Somosierra Oakwood (Madrid) Bat. Complutensis ¡7: 65-78 The distribution uf the epiphytic lichenic vegetation is studied on three forophytes (Corylus avellano L., Ilex aquxfalium L. and Quercus pyrenaica Willd.) collected in a small wood at Somosierra mountains (Madrid, Spain). A systematie-stratificated sample was carríed out. The samples were later subjected to an ordination technique. the Principal Components Analysis (PCA). The similarities among the recognized lichenic communities are Ireated according lo the siope (high or low), the height (upper or bottom) and their oríentation (N, 5, E, or W). We think that this distribution corresponds to the different ecophysiological needs of lichens.
