Contributions to the alien flora of Cordoba and western Andalusia (Spain)
Abstract
Four alien taxa, all of them infrequent in western Andalusia (and in Andalusia in general), are recorded for the first time for Cordoba: Amaranthus blitum subsp. emarginatus, Chamaesyce maculata, Onobrychis viciifolia y Proboscidea louisianica. For each of them the following items are identified: the origin, with predominance of North America taxa; invasion status (for western Andalusia): naturalized, invasive, casual and casual, respectively; residence status: all of them are neophytes; habitat: prevail the constructed areas and cultivated lands; pathway of introduction: with the exception of O. viciifolia, intentional through Agriculture, all others are unintentional; and first known record (for Western Andalusia): between 1886 (O. viciifolia) and 2001 (P. louisianica). The problema of the identification of the invasion status has also been analyzed.
