El género policíaco en la novela gráfica: <i>Sin City</i>

Abstract

This paper is a reflection on how close crime fiction and comic are, we pay special attention to the American hardboiled fiction and graphic novels. Through the analysis of some representative works belonging to post-modern comic and the basic characteristics of crime fiction, we look for the common traces and the key elements that will appear in the plots as well as in the spaces of both literary worlds, showing a total symbiosis that makes Sin city a crime fiction series in a comic-book format.
