Lisboa en el cine: Lo que el extranjero debe ver
Abstract
A double reading of the films Dans la ville blanche by Alan Tanner and Lisbon story by Wim Wenders is proposed. On one hand, to contrast the efforts of both directors to avoid an alien regard, touristic, on the city where the protagonist dwell, in favor of a more internal regard, as of a traveler, that fails by creating an idyllic image of the zone of Alfama, that not showing urban landmarks is topic. As a counterexample the stark vision of “lisboeta” director Pedro Costa will be used. On the other hand, to evidence the effect of the aquatic element, the river encountering the ocean, as a symbolic key to the behaiviour of the protagonists of both cinematic narratives.Downloads
