The Toponymy of the Streets of Valladolid
Abstract
We cannot understand the urban planning of a town without knowing its history. And that history is understood thanks to the street names, both the current and the oldest ones, because a specific motivation exists to give a name. The toponymic study explains, besides, not only the continuous changes in the urban appearance, but also the political and ideological changes of its inhabitants.Downloads
