Abstract

The commitment to quality food products that has arisen as a result of the change in priorities in the final destination of agrifood production in favour of consumer interests is one of the most significant characteristics of the so-called “post-productivist transition” currently taking place in agricultural areas. This article is an initial assessment of these changes in the vine and wine sector in Castilla-La Mancha, based on the quality survey proposed in the estate wine certifications, which aim to satisfy the most highly qualified market segments.
