The feminization of French language and FFL university students
Abstract
This article tries to give an answer to the questions raised about the feminization of the French language. It examines the relationship that exists between gender and sex, the different types of sexism, the resources of the French language to form the feminine, the kind of obstacles it faces, and the stance of the French-speaking countries on the matter. The article ends by proposing a number of learning activities for FFL university students so that they can solve by themselves the learning difficulties they might encounter on the subject.Downloads
