Cybersecurity as a critical factor for the Security of the European Union
Abstract
Cyberspace is a very complex conflict scenario in constant evolution. Neither the European Union nor any other actor of the international system is safe from cyberspace threats. But the steps taken in the EU on cyber-security are clearly insufficient. Europe needs a cybersecurity Strategy really able of integrating the different national Strategies. It is urgent to have a stronger determination, more resources and better tools, allowing the Union to implement efficient crisis management and cyber-conflict prevention.
