Balance de una década: la riqueza de las naciones y el efecto de la política neoliberal del Gobierno del Partido Popular en la cooperación española
Abstract
Away from the international consensus brought about in the 90´s on how to make a pro-poor aid more effective, the current model of neoliberal development assistance is not taking into consideration crucial aspects on how aid should be distributed to poorest countries and basic sectors. Therefore, aid should focus, among several aspects, on the principles of coherence among donors, the role of public expenditures in recipient countries as well as the role of civil society.
