Mecanismos de desarrollo limpio y cooperación al desarrollo: reto y oportunidad
Abstract
The Clean Development mechanism is one of the instruments created in the frame of the Kyoto Protocol, which is a development of the Convention on Climate Change. The CDM allows the industrialized countries to fulfil their emission reductions committements by supporting the implementation of, for instance, renewable energy projects, that reduce the damaging emissions, in the developing countries. The implementation of the CDM is promoting some debates and it could be asked if the CDM represents a trap or an opportunity for sustainable development
